About Us

Brandywine Center for Dance has low teacher-to-student ratios that allow for a better experience and ensure that each child gets the attention that they deserve. We give our students the opportunity to explore other avenues by letting them learn how to choreograph their own productions. Our top-of-the-line studio includes the Brandywine Dance Company, the Brandywine Hip Hop Company, and the Brandywine Tap Company.

Studio Philosophy

Students at the Brandywine Center for Dance are encouraged to participate in family-oriented productions. A yearly recital, full-length winter ballets, parent visitation days, and other professional performance opportunities provide students with the self-confidence and presence that is fostered in our center through all of its activities.

Our classes are age-appropriate, and children learn in a positive, esteem-building environment. Emphasis is placed on technique, and choreography is developed at each level to display and enhance the skills that are learned during each class. Each student — from youngest to oldest — is an integral part of our program. We believe that no child should be taught in an overcrowded class environment. Each child should receive the attention that they deserve!
